FamCalendar privacy policy

Last updated November 2, 2026.

FamCalendar is a private family wall calendar. It is used only by members of our household.

What FamCalendar reads

When a family member connects their Google account, FamCalendar asks Google for read-only access to the calendars they choose. It reads event titles, times, locations, and notes so it can show them on the family calendar screen. It cannot create, change, or delete anything in Google Calendar.

Where the data is kept

Calendar events and the Google sign-in token are stored only on the FamCalendar computer in our home. They are not sent to any other service, sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Removing access

A family member can stop FamCalendar from reading their calendar at any time from their Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting in FamCalendar's settings also deletes that person's synced events from the calendar computer.
